Bulls Sell Private Treaty
Bull Conditioning
Our bulls are born in the fall and stay on their mothers eating alfalfa until weaning and spring turn out in May. They run on rough mountain pasture where they have to work for feed and gain until the end of September. They are then brought home and wintered on free fed alfalfa and a light ration of cull peas and barley to get them bunk broke and work on docility. We pride ourselves on good temperament, forage efficiency and longevity.
Herd Health and Guarantee
All bulls pass a breeding soundness exam, are trich tested, and go through a complete vaccination protocol prior to sale. Bulls are guaranteed 100% to be sound and healthy breeders for their first breeding season. Breeding season being defined as the 1st 90 days following first turnout. All bulls selling for $2500 or more will be given 50% of the value of the injured bull, minus salvage value, in a future sale or towards a replacement bull if one is available. All injured bulls must be diagnosed by a veterinarian. We must be notified ASAP and prior to injured bull being sold for salvage. All claims must be made prior to September 1st of the breeding year.

With a $500 deposit in the fall we will hold fall yearling bulls until the end of February the following spring as long yearlings for spring breeders with no wintering charge.
